Born in Willoughby, Ohio, but raised in the nearby city of Mentor ("the suburbs of the suburbs" as it's often jokingly referred), Colton Bose grew up with a lot of time on his hands, most of which he spent thinking, dreaming, and making up tall tales. At the age of 13, he watched Walter Hill's cult classic The Warriors for the first time and fell in love with it. Deciding to investigate further, Bose soon found himself smitten with the magic of cinema, and it very quickly became his passion, which it has remained ever since and it only grows more with each passing year. Bose derives influence from numerous places, but most especially from surrealism and psychedelia. Among his most significant influences included Samuel Beckett, Luis Buñuel, William S. Burroughs, Bob Dylan, and Rene Magritte. He resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
