Asian-American beauty Sun Nea (pronounced SUE-NAY) recently co-starred in the indie comedy Shah Bob.; she also played the femme fatale role in the webisode Monday Morning and she's been paged to co-star in the upcoming thriller The Glass Cage. That and three episode appearances in CSI: Las Vegas are just the beginning for this multi-talented newcomer to the Hollywood scene.
Born in El Paso, Texas on a military base, she returned to her native South Korea when she was one, then returned to the U.S. at four, attending James Wood High School in Winchester, Virginia. On her mother's side, she is a descendent of King Yi Sejong, one of only two Korean rulers honored with the title "The Great." He oversaw the creation of the Hangul alphabet and used the advancement of technology to improve Korean culture. Sun Nea also has French, Cherokee and Irish blood.
At 18, Sun Nea left America for Europe to model for Zoom Modeling Agency. She lived in Milan for one year and Monte Carlo for two. She had the opportunity of working with great photographers, appeared in Italian Vogue, and did runway shows for Versace and Dior. She had many great experiences working in Europe as a model.
When Sun Nea returned to America she signed with the Ford Agency. Turning to acting, she studied at Howard Fine Studio and he opened her eyes up to the world of performance.
