Andrew Futaishi

British actor Andrew Futaishi, who played Louis Prima in the 2014 thriller The Ipanema File is often cast as cold, calculating villains. Before becoming an actor though, he read Mathematics at degree level. Futaishi was born Andrew Tsuyoshi Davies in Surrey, England, to a Japanese mother and an English father. After graduating drama school, he took his mother's maiden name as his stage-name. Futaishi attended RGS Guildford in Surrey, and studied Mathematics at the university level in Norwich before switching to the Drama degree. He went on to further hone his craft of at the London-based Poor School. He has recently completed filming on Tomoko, The Ipanema File and All That Remains.
