Lana MacIver is a Scottish/Lebanese actress, writer/director, and producer. Her short films 'Untouchable' and 'A Night Deity' were both shortlisted at the Portobello Film Festival in 2013 and 2014. Lana is also a singer/songwriter and performs frequently in London venues. As a child, Lana grew up in Nicosia, Cyprus and when she became a teenager her family moved to Beirut, Lebanon just as the troubles began to arise. Lana spent a lot of time writing and reflecting on the political and social aspects of her native country Lebanon, which continues to inspire her films and music today.
