William Macaulay is an up and coming undergraduate filmmaker hailing from Columbia University, with multiple short films under his belt. His first film to receive small-time festival attention, "The Dash" (2010) was made at the School of Cinematic Arts in USC as he was graduating high school. After a several more low budget projects like "DayDream" (2013), he entered the workforce as a PA working under many talented directors of network and premium television such as Comedy Central, NBC, and HBO. As a freelance Camera/Steadicam Operator, Will continued to hone his craft and aesthetic through his college years He then took on his first major production as Writer, Director, Editor and Cinematographer of the the Short Film "Sundown" (2014) based on his grandfather's passing and struggle with dementia. Finally, Will brings us his most recent project that is receiving consideration from festivals like the New York Independent Film Festival "Your Move" (2014) that traces a playful game of chess between mentor and protégé that goes terribly wrong.
