Travis Carlson

Biography

Travis Carlson is a writer and independent filmmaker based in Buffalo, New York. In 2013 he graduated with honors from SUNY Buffalo State with a focus in writing and film, while attending, he also released his first feature film, The Codex (2010), and circumnavigated the world by boat and motorcycle. His shipmate, Megan Gonsalves, would become a producing partner on many subsequent projects. With Pan-American Film Division and external projects Travis has continued to make over fifteen short films, dozens of short documentaries and television commercials. Three of these shorts - Ride of Your Life (2017), To Have and to Hold (2019) & Blind Spot (2021) - won international competitions earning entrance to the Cannes Film Festival SFC. Travis has worked regularly with the NFL's Buffalo Bills, NHL's Buffalo Sabres. In 2020 he lead Pan-Am Films in their continuous shot feature film, Mother's Day (2021), based on his family's life.
