Chuck Merlo

Born in Austin, Texas. Has degrees from the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Air Force during Vietnam, was later selected for officer training and rose to the rank of colonel. After retirement from active duty, he moved to San Saba, Texas where he and his wife own a cattle ranch.
