Chris Norlund is a writer director. He is an orphan refugee from Saigon, Vietnam, but he grew up in America and is a US citizen. English is his native language, but he is self-taught to speak Chinese, Japanese, and Korean conversationally.
He is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the US Navy as a pilot candidate and later interviewed for the CIA clandestine agent program. He was a professor of TV and film directing having taught in the US, China, and Korea. He went through the WGA military veterans writing program in 2017.
