Kevin Taylor Anderson

Biography

Kevin Taylor Anderson is a visual anthropologist and ethnographic filmmaker who has made films in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Japan, Italy, India, Mexico, Alaska, and Ireland. He has taught film studies and anthropology courses at Tufts University, Clark University, Seattle University, and currently is Lecturer in Media, Culture, and Visual Methods in the Communication Department at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. His heroes are Jean Rouch, Chris Marker, and Matsuo Basho.
