Spencer Thielmann

Born with almost too great a love for period and fantasy movies, Spencer Thielmann, a recent graduate of NYU's Film and Television, founded Gobhoblin Pictures: a small, independent production company which he uses to create projects that would make 8-year-old Spencer proud. Raised on adventure movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Indiana Jones, Spencer wanted to make films for as long as he could remember. Now with the tools at hand and friends by his side, he strives to make pretty things and tell a good story. For his day job, Spencer co-runs Protoscience Media Lab with Adam Nawrot. He also works as a freelance camera operator and assistant camera in New York City, frequently shooting for NBC/USA/LXTV for the Emmy Award-Winning Series Talk Stoop with Cat Greenleaf, and working with production companies such as Konrad & Paul, Dream Machine Creative, and Deverge.
