David Yates

David Yates is the former CEO of the Ironman Triathlon Company (World Triathlon Company) where he Executive Produced the 1992-1998 NBC Sports Ironman Triathlon sport specials, and where he was awarded three Sports Emmy's and four International Monitor Awards. Yates also spent 14 years as the CEO at Clearwater Marine Aquarium where he Co-Produced Dolphin Tale and Executive Produced Dolphin Tale 2. Both movies starred Harry Connick, Jr., Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, Cozi Zuehlsdorff, Nathan Gamble, Austin Highsmith and Austin Stowell. Yates also produced, directed and write the documentary Winter, the Dolphin That Can.
