Matthew Einstein is an award-winning Creative Producer and Literary Manager with over a decade of entertainment industry experience. A native of Long Island, New York, he graduated top of his class at UCLA's Ancient Near Eastern History department.
Matthew then started as an assistant before rising up to Head of Development for Atmosphere Entertainment, run by former WB and Tri-Star head Mark Canton. At Atmosphere, Matthew oversaw development and production on many studio, network and independent productions including WB's 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE, Lionsgate's THE LAST WITCH HUNTER starring Vin Diesel, Michael Caine and Elijah Wood, CAKE starring Jennifer Aniston and Sam Worthington, and MISTER CHURCH starring Eddie Murphy and Britt Robertson. Matthew was the point executive on the hit Starz series POWER with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, where he was tasked with overseeing development, production and post-production on seasons 1 and 2.
In 2015, Matthew launched Los Angeles-based production and management firm, Tradition Pictures, which produces narrative and documentary productions for film and television and represents writers, filmmakers, and editors.
Later that same year, he produced TRUMP'S AMERICA, a short film which won awards at multiple festivals. From 2017-2019, Matthew produced FIRST PERSON, a narrative feature film written and directed by Ashley Cahill and starring Valene Kane, Jazzy DeLisser & Odessa Young; THE MENTAL STATE starring Bryan Greenberg, Carly Pope and William R. Moses; as well as documentary films COJOT and DISCOVERING GLORIA by award winning documentarian Boaz Dvir, and GONNA FLY NOW by Alex Rotaru.
Matthew is in post-production on HEVAL (2020), a documentary directed by Adam Wood, with Jupiter Entertainment, and is prepping COLD MILLION (2020), a narrative feature written and directed by Ashley Cahill and starring Tom Jane, Allen Maldonado & Anne Heche for production. Other films in post-production include documentaries A DISTANT HORIZON and THE CURE. There are numerous projects set up at studios and financial entities, and others across various stages of development and pre-production.
