Martin Kihn is the author of the memoirs "House of Lies," "A$$hole" and "Bad Dog (A Love Story)." He was on the staff of Spy magazine and New York and was Head Writer on VH1's "Pop-Up Video," for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Writing. Rights to Kihn's "A$$hole" were purchased by Warner Brothers/Spring Creek and a series based on "House of Lies," starring Don Cheadle as "Marty," debuts on Showtime in early 2012. Kihn is an advertising executive and lives in Minneapolis.
