Biography

Inspired by the ability stories have to change the world, Ryan continues to create at any opportunity he gets. His latest documentary, Unpinned he used footage to vindicate a decorated police officer that resulted in an upheaval within the leadership of the police department, including firings and demotions, and uncovered a citywide scandal that was covered by media outlets around the world. In 2013 Ryan documented a promotional bus tour that him to 32 different cities in 32 days. American Made Movie Tour was Ryan's first directorial collaboration with Life Is My Movie Entertainment where he is now a partner with the company. In 2014 he was a co-producer on the documentary Soldiers' Stories with Academy Award winning Producer Nick Reed which featured the narration of Academy Award winning actor Mickey Rooney in one of the final films before his death. In the narrative space he has he has worked writer/director Travis Romero (White Collar, Hawaii) and producer/engineer Paul Foley (Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga) to produce the feature film Treachery starring Michael Biehn (Terminator, Tombstone) along with other projects which have been distributed world-wide. Ryan also has a keen ability to move mountains in the marketing world and many have harnessed this power attempting to succeed in the fast paced entertainment world. One of the most notable of these was developing the marketing campaign for the Academy Award winning film The Lady In Number 6. A graduate of Werner Herzog's Rogue Film School, Ryan was also the founder of the first audiobook entertainment company to offer "rental downloads." He has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Entrepreneur Magazine and the Los Angeles Business Journal.
