Amanda Hopewell is an English singer and songwriter. She is known for her signature voice and dance-pop music.
She is also a writer, creative artist and designer. She trained as a playwright, theatre director, performer, teacher and designer. She has an MA in theatre: Writing, Directing & Performance from the University of York, a first-class BA (hons) degree in drama and performance from the University of Wolverhampton and was awarded the drama department prize for highest overall academic achievement. She also achieved the certificate in social sciences and social policy from the Open University, a diploma in professional interior design from the National Design Academy, a PGCE in lifelong learning from the University of Huddersfield and completed a teaching placement at York College where she was graded outstanding in all areas.
She won the heat of Script Factor with her play, 'Married 24 Hours' and went through to the all winners final at the York Theatre Royal with her comedy, 'Audrey's Perfect Party.'
