Since 2004, with her debut in the spring play of Emperor's New Clothes with actor Nathan Kress at Foothill Christian School, Keri has been heavily involved with acting and modeling.
Starring, for the rest of her middle school and junior high years, in various plays from Annie to Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella, she was enamored with the prospect of being able to share her talents with the world. In 2006, at age 12, she was signed with Brand Talent Agency after completing acting classes at Del Mar Media Arts in Irvine. Professionally trained in teleprompting, earprompting, film acting, television acting, commercial acting, and dramatic monologues, Keri went on various auditions and jobs for commercial and print work.
After getting braces in 2007, she took a break from the professional gigs and instead focused on her blooming modeling talent. Her sister Lori, 2 years older than she, was beginning to excel in photography, and needed a constant model to practice with. Keri obliged, and thus a new passion was developed.
Photo-shoot after photo-shoot, Keri came to know her angles and lighting, and Lori came to know how to capture it all. From then, Keri could take her practice, and go on freelance jobs including posing for portrait art classes, and various print work for acquaintances and friends alike.
Once her braces were off in 2009, with more than 70 various shoots under her size small belt, she began working professionally again, scouting sites like Craigslist and Model Mayhem for work.
Aside from various shoots, Keri was booked in music videos as well, beginning in 2010. Her most prominent ones yet are for the UK band, The Script, and Iranian band Sandy.
In January of 2011, Keri was signed with Wild Models Inc., based in Century City. From then on, the work kept on coming!
Now (12/12), a professional catalog model for swimsuits, bridal, and girls' clothes, Keri hopes to put a fresh and approachable face to modeling, and achieve her goal of being a broadcast journalist. She is a catalog model (and avid shopper!) and loves this job more and more after every shoot and look-book, while also appearing in many other catalogs.
She's been featured on Disney wedding website for a Tangled inspired bridal shoot, as well as numerous online catalogs like CutesyGirl and Funkey Monkey. She's modeled t-shirts for websites like Neatorama and was chosen to model for Deviant Art's merchandise. She does fit modeling for designers in LA as well as bridal catalogs.
