Nick Jordan

Nick Jordan is an artist who works with film, drawing, painting, objects, publications and collaboration. The artist's short films deploy a documentary approach, photographed in direct response to particular locations. With a combination of original footage and archive images or audio, the films present oblique, layered narratives that explore social, cultural and natural ecologies. Nick Jordan's work has been shown widely at international festivals and exhibitions, including Innsbruck International Biennale (Austria); Kunstmuseum, Bonn (Germany); Whitstable Biennale (UK); BFI London Film Festival (UK); Musée du Quai Branly, Paris (France); Darwin State Museum, Moscow (Russia); Edinburgh International Film Festival (UK); Interfilm Berlin, (Germany); São Paulo International Short Film Festival (Brazil); Kassel Dokfest (Germany); Documenta, Madrid (Spain). The artist is based in Manchester, UK.
