Nicholas Kolev is a Bulgarian actor that came to the United States in 1998. Prior to his arrival he was working as a performer in the circus industry from the young age of 6. During his first 5 years in the United States he traveled with his family performing gymnastics, hand balancing, juggling, and trampoline acts all over the United States and Canada with a three ring circus.
Once his family retired from the circus, Nicholas attended Del Sol High School in Las Vegas NV where he fell in love with the theatre and acting. He acted in all of the productions the theatre produced during his time there, including their competitive improv team. Finishing his high school education in 2 years he enrolled in the Southern Oregon University Theatre program and was accepted into the prestigious SOU performance program. While his previous gymnastics experience landed to mastering his physicality, the focus in performing Shakespeare allowed him to develop the ability to perform both with an accent and completely without one. He completed all of the acting, improv, voice and movement classes while at SOU and continues to practice his craft daily.
His passion lies in character development and script analysis where he utilizes a mix of acting techniques, striving to arrive at a unique and natural performance. Most recently Nicholas booked a recurring role on NCIS Los Angeles Season 10 finale and season 11 premiere.
