Biography

Valeria Aceves was born in Mexico City, where she started acting at the age of 7. She started her career in theatre as part of the Praxis Company. She interpreted Bobbi in the production of "Some Girl(s)", alongside with Adrian Laut and Fernanda Pedret, and later Carmina in "Ruta 13", an original script of Jimena Merodio. She was also in the production of "Dime que me amas", a micro musical presented at Teatro en Corto, alongside with Cecilia Galindo. In 2017, Valeria Aceves directed, choreographed and acted in her own production and adaptation of "Rock Of Ages" presented at the acclaimed stage Wilberto Cantón. Her first film project was the short film "Los Últimos", winner in the category of Best Cinematography at the Alternative Film Festival. At age seventeen, she obtained a Proficiency (CPE) Degree in English. She is also fluent in French. In 2019, she relocated to New York where she studied the Meisner Technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. Soon after her graduation in May 2022, she played the role of Vanessa in the Light Opera Of New Jersey's production of "In The Heights". Her latest credit include "Camp Joy", opposite to Gaby Franco Ferro, directed by Dimas Salaberrios.
