Duquene is an Haitian American Film Director, Writer, and Producer based not too far outside of New York City. He majored in Communications Arts, Film & TV and took his filmmaking career seriously after he graduated in December of 2021. Since then, he has directed many of his own personal projects as well as a collaborative projects. Born in Connecticut on September 10 of 2000, Don very much embraces the established African American Directors before him like Spike Lee & Tyler Perry, who have been two of his inspirations for many years.
In December of 2021, he launched his film production company named after himself, "Don Duquene Studios". The company name was inspired by Tyler Perry when he launched "Tyler Perry Studios" in his name. Don is well on his way to solidify his himself a young perennial filmmaker who is passionate about sharing meaningful stories for all audiences to absorb and learn from.
Besides being an idealist Director on his own original projects, he puts himself situations to help other filmmakers push their creative goals on various diverse productions as a Director-for-hire contractor.
Don is known for his debut directorial film "I AM A MAN" (2022) and his debut fictional short film as a screenwriter, director, and producer in "Fatal Truth" (2022).
