Antonio La Torre Giordano is a film historian, researcher and essayist, making his debut at a very young age in Microfilm (1992), and then Una giornata meravigliosa (1999) and In Sicily (2003). He then turned his interest to the activity of researcher and historian of cinema, collaborating with various Italian film libraries. Along with his career as a film archivist, Antonio has a long standing reputation as an essayist, exhibition curator and film critic, with many years of experience in the history of cinema and management of archival / film heritage, combined with a solid training in the humanities and publishing fields, with aptitude for film exhibitions. He has been involved for years in the dissemination, study, research and enhancement of film culture. He wrote the first monograph ever published in Italy about cinema shot in Palermo as well as about Italian "protogiallo" cinema. In recent years he has contributed to several documentaries as a researcher and supplier of film archival materials such as Ennio: The Maestro (2021), Uno, nessuno, cento Nino (2021) and Steno (2022).
