James Gentile

James served twenty-eight years as an officer in the United States Army. As a young lieutenant and captain, he flew reconnaissance and attack aircraft. Later in his career, as a major he taught both at the US Military Academy at West Point and the French Military Academy (École spéciale de Saint Cyr), and as a lieutenant colonel supporting allied intelligence cooperation. Following his retirement from the Army, James founded a not-for-profit company that promotes science and engineering education for primary and secondary aged school children. James resides in Europe. He is married and has two daughters.
