Joan E. Wakeland

Joan E Wakeland is an Empowerment Facilitator, Speaker, International and US Best Selling Author of "The Run For Freedom ". Soon to be released is her newest book " Changing my thoughts, and my words changed my world "She also speaks on these two topics and others for corporations and organizations across the globe. Presently, she is the Director of the Riverside affiliate of the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs in California, and is also the Co- Director of the Temecula, Ca network. She serves on the GSFE (Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs) Advisory Board and supports other 501c3 nonprofit organizations. She has dedicated herself to the GSFE organization and the success of its members. Joan also served as a former President of the GFWC ( General Federation of Women's Club) Menifee/Sun City chapter. Her prior experience was as a pharmacist in her native country of Jamaica and a pharmaceutical representative for major pharmaceutical companies in the US. Joan coaches, mentors and encourages members to step out of their comfort zone. Over the years, she has received numerous Presidential "Call to Service" Lifetime and numerous awards from Senators, Congress & dignitaries. She won the title for Ms. Elegance International in the Woman of Achievement Pageant in September 2021. Joan was recognized by the City of Menifee as " The Citizen of the Month in December 2021. Joan recently received the "She Inspire Me)( SIMA) International Global Award from London, England, On December 3, 2022 she will be awarded a honorary humanitarian doctors degree for her service to others.
