Maruf Alam

Maruf Alam hails from Hojai district of Assam is an IIS officer. Presently he is the head of DD News Guwahati. He attended Film Appreciation course in the premier Pune film Institute FTII in the year 2010. Maruf did his Mass Communication with speculation in Electronic media from Cotton College. Rengani (An Assamese short film) is his debut direction. He is also the Co-Editor of the bestselling book "Legend of Indian Silver Screen" brought by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India in 2016.
