Robert Monegan

Filmmaker, Writer, Director, Artist. Robert Monegan has three films, THE EYES OF THE WORLD, DRIVE, and DOUBLE A, he wrote, directed, and currently screening in various film festivals. THE EYES OF THE WORLD (about a janitor finding sudden fame in 1920s Hollywood), won Best Production award at New York True Venture Film Festival 2021. DRIVE (about a taxi driver and an uptight passenger sharing a bumpy ride) won Best New York Film at Transparent Film Festival 2022. DOUBLE A (about two rival actors fighting for the same role) was a Finalist in New York Flash Film Festival 2021. Robert is also an illustration artist. His Glam Divas comic art (www.glamdivas.net) has been presented theatrically and at gallery exhibitions. Future projects include a live action film based on his Glam Divas characters, and producing his play, DEFIANTLY FABULOUS - a gay/comedic twist on the classic 1958 Tony Curtis/Sidney Poitier film, The Defiant Ones.
