Ashwin Muthiah

Ashwin Muthiah is a recovering sommelier, world traveler, and wine teacher. He is the creator, writer, and host of In Pursuit of Flavor - a documentary film about the origins of wine in Georgia (the country) and the origins of passion. Born in Chennai and bounced as a youngling between the U.S. and India, Ashwin explores the inner depths of our human nature through the pursuit of a universal joy: flavor. Ashwin has lived all over the world - Georgia (the country), Italy, Hungary, Scotland, Serbia; and has led wine tastings in nearly all these places. He is the author of a memoir In Pursuit of Flavor and an avid taster of anything and everything.
