Eda Yasar

Eda Yasar was born on 8 May 1994 in Ankara. Among 3 siblings, she's the youngest one in the family. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. Her interest in music started in her childhood years. After being discovered by her music teacher during her high school years, she had her first stage experience by representing her school for 2 years at the Mamak Youth Festival, thanks to her teacher. In 2013, she get into the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Akdeniz University. During her university times, she acted in the theater and advertising industry. After meeting the oud instrument master Metin Karateke in 2014, she learned to sing songs in Hicaz, Rast, Hüzzam, Muhayyerkürdî, Ussak, Kürdîlihicazkâr, Nihavend, Karcigar and Segâh maqams. In 2022, she took her place in the music industry by performing her first professional work titled "Günesimi Ararim", the lyrics and music of which belonged to Erol Ersoy Cesur, with the arrangement of Sedat Sakarya.
