Allison Kitaguchi

Allison Marie Kitaguchi (born December 30, 1997) is an American screenwriter. Allison was born in Rockville, Maryland to Coleen and Allan Kitaguchi. Her father, Allan, is half Japanese and her mother, Coleen, is of Scottish descent. Her father is a programmer and her mother is a webmaster. Allison moved from Germantown, Maryland to Frederick, Maryland in 2005. In high school, Allison began experimenting with audio and video production, going on to complete the Television/Multimedia Program at Frederick's Career and Technology Center (2013-2015). She went on to attend Frostburg State University (2015-2019), where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Mass Communication, focusing in audio and video production. She also had a minor in English, specializing in creative writing. During her time in college, she would study abroad in England at Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne (2017) and work at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland as an attractions cast member (2018). Allison also earned a Master's of Fine Arts from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts for Screenwriting in the spring of 2022.
