Luigi Serafini is an Italian artist, architect and designer. He is famous for his alienating and mysterious works, such as the Codex Seraphinianus, the encyclopedia of a fantastic world, illustrated and written in an indecipherable alphabet, first published in book form by Franco Maria Ricci in 1981 consisting of 360 plates .
