Venus Satanas

Melissa Hudson, otherwise known to her fans as Venus Satanas, has been writing and blogging about Satanism and the Left Hand Path since 2004. In 2007 she created a channel on YouTube for her fans so she could discuss Satanism. Then, in 2009, she was invited to contribute to the book, Women's Voices in Magic. In 2018 she was a guest speaker at Flambeau Noir, a conference for people of the Left Hand Path. That same year she also published her book, The first prayer book ever made for Satanists, the "Spiritual Satanist Prayer Book: Infernal Reflections". Venus Satanas has done many radio and podcast interviews where she discusses Satanism. She has also received mention from the academic community for her contribution and influence in the Satanic movement, most notably from "Satanism: A Social History", "Alternative Spirituality and Religion Review The Devil's Demographics Changes in the Satanic Milieu", "The Cambridge Companion to New Religious Movements", "The Routledge History of Witchcraft", and more.
