Tomas Mazal

Czech photographer, poet, essayist, editor, documentary filmmaker and biographer of Bohumil Hrabal. In 1989, he met writer Bohumil Hrabal and became a close friend and photographer. He also devoted himself intensively to underground film, in which he connected documentary techniques with feature passages. The most important film in which he co-directed is probably the artistic documentary We Live in Prague (1985) about Egon Bondy.
