Omid Johari

Omid Johari was born on 7th June, 1982 in Tehran. He has graduated in filmmaking from the Young Cinematographers Association of Iran and has an MA in Cinema from Tehran University of Arts. He started his film making career in 2014 with a short film called Eight. In 2017 he made No one Remembers You , another short film, and a more professional experience. To this day, he has several experimental and documentary short works in his repertoire. In addition to filmmaking, he has worked in the field of screenwriting and play writing, and has written several feature and short screenplays. He has also been actively writing and publishing critical articles, and is collaborating in the writing of the book Style and Genre in Theater and Cinema.
