Biography

Morten Dürr is a Danish children's author living in Copenhagen, Denmark and the countryside in southern Sweden. He has had more then 60 books published including picture books, novels and graphic novels. His stories spans both humor like his middle grade novel "My Robot brother" (film adaption Nimbus Film) and very serious social issues work like "Ivalu" (adapted as a short film by Anders Walter) Morten Dürr has received numerous national writing awards including "Skriverprisen" - the national writing award from the Danish ministry of culture and the ministry of education. His books have been translated into 21 languages.
