Biography

Born on May 15th, 1996 in Miami, FL to Norma Karoba and George Karoba. Being raised in a city of diverse ethnicities and cultures, he became more aware of the individuality of human experience and set forth to make an impact on as many people he could. After many years of juggling many different occupational possibilities such as: medical school, law school, and federal government work, George came to realize towards the end of 2019 that his dedication for helping others coupled with a creative mindset and passion for the arts came after an existential awakening and new goal to fulfill what he believes to be his purpose in life. George graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from Florida International University in 2020. George began to do lots of self-study in film and theater. Watching multiple films daily to master his understanding of the basic principles and themes of film and applying it to his own ideas. George also studied under Ralph Kinnard at Miami Acting Studio for 5 months growing confidence and understanding the craft of acting as a student. After a year and a half of self-study George wrote, directed, and produced "Veneer" a short-film in which he believes is the encapsulation of what his style of film is. George believes that film should become mainstream, not as entertainment but as cinema and has made it his life long goal to make cinema an art form appreciated by both critics and the common man. To him, film is the greatest art form combining elements that are able to touch our psychological and emotional being and therefore allow us to understand ourselves better.
