Dana Longpre

Dana grew up wanting to gather peers for a backyard circus performance or trying to recruit her sister to join as an actor in a musical she was writing in grade school, but since others didn't seem as passionate as her about putting on large productions she sought out the school drama department. Throughout her school career and all the way through college, Dana performed in every play and musical she could. On the side she was writing her own pop and rap music at home. Her passion to produce shows came to fruition when she was given permission to develop her own performing arts program, called Romans 12, at her son's private school in Idaho, where she wrote full length musicals, choreographed the dances in ballet, hip hop, acro and lyrical, did costuming and organized tours. After moving to Wisconsin Dana decided to move her talent set into producing music videos that she also sang and performed in and cast. And after much prayer and consideration wrote her first screenplay, One of Them!!, based on her true story of her life through foster care. The story unfolds in where the main character returns back to work with youth in a group home to tell them God has a plan for their lives. Dana has entered her screenplay, One of Them!!, and has been selected as an official entry in the Content 2022 Film Festival and continues to act in indie TV and films throughout the Midwest.
