Biography

Len Williams, CEO-turned-master storyteller, is a former international retail industry executive, and CEO and president of companies in the United States, Belgium, New Zealand and Canada, including Caldor, Lion-Nathan, Coca-Cola New Zealand, Penny's, and the Pic'n'Save Corporation. He made his writing debut with the critically acclaimed legal thriller, Justice Deferred. Inspired to write the novel by events following the disappearance of his 16-year-old son in 1980, Williams humanized the 'three-strikes' issue through the medium of the novel, reversing the roles of the prosecutor and the prosecuted. Publishers Weekly called the book "...downright addictive." Justice Deferred was optioned by Warner Brothers for Tobey Maguire's Maguire Entertainment, and is in development at La Monte Productions. Williams, originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada, divides his time between Rome and Los Angeles with his producer wife, Christine La Monte. He is at work on several novels, including The Good Sisters, a thriller set in Rome and New York City.
