Arka Gupta

Born and raised in India, Gupta moved to New Zealand 2018 for his PhD studies and quickly got involved with local theatre scene in the city of Palmerston North. He honed in on his filmmaking skills with the making of Udiyoman (Emerging) in 2020 \ following the making of Distancing (Atimari) in 2021. Dirty Dishes (2022) is Gupta's third short film being the most ambitious one yet.
