Author, Director He was born in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, in 1990 and graduated from Kuleli Military High School, Istanbul in 2009 and later from Turkish Military Academy,Ankara in 2013, as a Lieutenant in Turkish Army and a Systems Engineer. After working in several areas of Turkey, as a member of Special Operation and Commando Units, in 2016 (1st may) he was gravely wounded in a military operation and could not walk almost one year. He lost his three friends in this operation, and many from several operations. Later, he was obliged to retire with honor of being a War Veteran. In his military school years, Kaleli wrote many poems and painted many works. In his difficult years in Special Operation Unit, he also published his first poetry book (Breaking of a Soul, January, 2015), after he was retired, his second book, first novel (Schizophrenic, April, 2017). Kaleli also attended three paintings exhibitions named "Living Soldier Painters Painting Exhibition" (2014,2016,2018) as a member of Soldier Painters in catalogue. In his medical healing period, the time offered him to think about how he could tell soldiers' stories, especially his three brave friends' self-sacrificing stories, under hard conditions, in front of a bullet. In 2017 (November), Erhan Kaleli was selected to get a course lasting almost one year in Istanbul Eyup Film Academy. After finishing this education period, he graduated from Ankara Baskent Communication Sciences Academy, Diction and Acting Department. In October 2018, he founded KALELI Media Production and performed in the theater play named "Casablanca, 1942". In April 2020, he founded KALELI Media Publishing House. In December 2020, he founded KALELI Medya Yapim Yayin Egitim Danismanlik Sanayi ve Ticaret Lti. Sti. Now, he is also a senior student in Sociology Department in Anatolian University. He speaks Turkish, English in advanced level, and studying Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Russian. "I have a dream of perceiving all the world from different angles and developing several point of views to comprehend human life. To me, for achieving this goal, cinema is the best way explored by humanity." he says.
