Yuto Shimizu

Yuto Shimizu is a 21-year-old Japanese writer/director. Yuto was born and raised in Gifu, Japan. After moving to Los Angeles, he has worked on numerous short films. In 2021, he made his first independent film, THE SOLOIST (2021), which is about the duality of perspective of love. In 2022, he also made his second short film about suicide prevention, VANITAS (2022).
