Jim Couroux

Jim Couroux is a Canadian writer and director. Couroux has been interested in filmmaking since his younger years, the first films he ever watched were Godzilla (1998), Frankenweenie (1984), and The Cat From Outer Space (1978), Couroux fell in love with film, resulting in a hobby of sorts. Later when Couroux discovered stop-motion animation he fell in love with it resulting in another hobby centered around animated filmmaking. When he saw Sicario (2015) for the first time his goals changed from watching movies to making them. As of now Couroux has directed the upcoming short film Seasonal Severity (2021) which will be distributed on YouTube via the channels: Jim Watches Something, and Monochromatic Pillow Pictures. Couroux has said that he wishes to make a digitally released feature film before the end of 2021.
