Christina Kim

Christina Kim was born on April the 26th, 1966 in Pusan, South Korea to parents SangKwuen Kim and YunGang Jegar along with one sibling, her younger sister. In 1994, Christina moved to the Gold Coast of Australia with her husband at the age of 29 where she raises her three sons. Revisiting the fairy-tales from Christina's childhood for her own children, she felt compelled to tell the stories from Korean folklore and keep the traditional tales relevant. Christina writes short stories steeped in Korean history and aims to write/direct/produce these in Australia as short films. The Last Zombie was written and directed by John Walton. Gold Coast Filmmaker Joshua Long cast Christina in the sombre short "Wheels on the Bus" ( a story about human rights in North Korea ) in 2016.
