Michael Charles Wilson is a filmmaker, musician, and multi-media artist who has spent the last 20 years creating independently produced projects. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in religious studies. After two years working in Hollywood as a tech, he spent 15 years in New York City producing music videos, live plays, and short films.
With a penchant for surrealism, symbolism, science fiction and religious iconography, he has created work including talk show show segments, art gallery presentations, soundscape installations, experimental films, theatrical plays, short narratives, animations, live paintings, and improvised sound recordings.
His work has screened at the New York International Film Festival and at the Tokyo Lift-Off Festival.
