Biography

Magdalene Ehlers was born as Magdalena Margarete Heidrich on August 19 1923 in Blumenthal, Province of Hanover, Free State of Prussia, German Reich. In 1939 Blumenthal was incorporated to Bremen, Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. She is an Author and Composer, known for her work in Low Saxon- and German-Language. After the second World War she worked in the town hall of Bremen-Blumenthal. In the 1990s she decided to publish her work for the public. She wrote 7 Books, mostly in Low Saxon and composed "Das Lied der "Weserperle"" for the Men's choir "Weserperle" of Bremen-Rönnebeck. She also worked on 5 Affilated Books in which she published parts of her work together with other Authors. She was married and had one Daughter, together with her husband. She died on November 10 2016 in Lesum, Bremen, Bremen, Germany.
