Velvet Wells

Velvet Wells is colloquially known as The Velvet Duke in the international improvisational comedy community. Velvet is the co-founder of three active comedy groups: "The Dandies", "OverDude", and "All Request Radio", and a member of "Wakanda VS Everybody" through the Black Improv Alliance. September 2021, Velvet Duke's Family Friendly Comedy Concert ran virtually through the Queen West Arts Crawl (Toronto) In 2019, Velvet premiered "Personal Demon Hunter" at the Toronto Fringe Festival and performed again at the Victoria Fringe Festival In 2018, Velvet appeared in the Plan$well digital ad campaign. In 2016, Velvet appeared in the "Star Trek 50th Anniversary" ad campaign on Space.
