C.D. Ruiz3

C.D.Ruiz3 (Charles David Ruiz III) Is an award winning American Director/Actor born and raised in El Paso, T.X. on Aug 3, 1973 and is now based out of Seattle W.A. He got his start acting in local theater productions as well as any commercial or movie that would come to town. After years of chasing the dream he realized he needed to move to a more influential city if he wanted a shot at getting into the industry. With friends already living in Seattle WA he packed up two big boxes of belongings and jumped on a plane headed to the Emerald City. It didn't take long for C.D.Ruiz3 to land a background actor roll In a movie named "Rockstar" starring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston. Shortly after that he had a bit part in "Life Or Something Like It" starring Angelina Jolie and Edward Burns. During this time period he also met his first wife and his first son was born. He found it a struggle to try and chase the acting dream and have a job that pays well enough to support a family. Realizing he was made for fatherhood he let the dream go and found joy in being a dad. Over the next few years life was a whirlwind for C.D.Ruiz3. He divorced and went back to El Paso for a little while where he met his final wife (Erika Ruiz) whom he has a daughter and son with. They moved back to Seattle to be near his first son and have all 3 kids in the same city. During this time C.D.Ruiz3 worked for a local entertainment venue named GameWorks which moved him from Seattle to Denver, C.O. During his time in Denver he wrote and directed a few short horror movies and when a friend of his (John Rainwaters) suggested they write, produce and direct a full length movie together he agreed thus "American Cannibals" was born. When GameWorks Denver closed do to COVID19 he moved back to Seattle to continue with the company and continue making movies. Through GameWorks he met Adam Faraizl (1990 IT) and Jonas Hernandez (Composer). One day during a conversation with Jonas an idea came to mind for another horror movie. Adam Faraizl was approached for the lead roll in this new movie and with him saying yes" Mine - BloodShift (Short") was born. As of 2022 C.D.Ruiz3 is working on new scripts and networking to meet new people in the industry with the same passion and love for the art as himself.
