Yiannis Panayiotarakos

Yannis Panayiotarakos was born in Drapetsona, Greece and studied film making and directing at the Stavrakos Film School in Athens. For nearly 20 years he worked as a film editor in various TV channels. He was also the co-founder of Reality, a successful company in the field of radio , video, advertisement , post-production, films and networking. A few years later he decided to leave the company and pursue his dreams as a director. Since then, he often worked as an assistant director in many documentary films, including some about minority communities in the Middle East.
