Herb Benjamin

Herb Benjamin is a character actor, residing in New Jersey with homegrown roots from New Orleans. While serving in the United States Army, Herb created Knuckes Improv Group to boast morale for soldiers that fought overseas, performing in Korea and Iraq. Herb's foundation would come from the New Orleans theatre scene and Melange' Dance Company, particularly avant-garde interpretations on classics, such as Faustus, Macbeth, and Oedipus Rex. Jazz would shape Herb's bari-tenor voice under the influence of Davell Crawford. As one can see, Herb's theatrical life has been spicing up" tradition" with groove, wit, and heart.
