Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Victor B. Costa moved to Los Angeles in 2019 primarily to study religion, philosophy and psychology after a 9-year career in management consulting. Due to an unexpected turn of events, Costa ended up studying filmmaking and decided to apply all of his love for spiritual matters into the stories he writes and supports, under a new genre he likes to call "spi-fi", or spiritual fiction. After his successful short film, "The Truth Seeker" (2020), which he wrote, directed, produced, edited and composed for with no budget whatsoever, Costa has now taken on bigger projects and is on the brink of selling his new feature film, "The Doors System", based on the novel written by Carlos Torres.
