Raj Mahajan

Raj Mahajan is an Indian Music Director, Composer, Actor, Singer, Poet and TV Show Host who is engaged in the publishing music and promotion of upcoming singers, actors, lyricist by giving them a platform through his Record Label on international level to showcase their talent without charging any cost to them. Raj Mahajan has composed and directed music for more than a thousand music albums, covering many genres and languages. Raj was born and brought-up in a middle class Hindu family in Delhi. He is the youngest one among 3 brothers. He was able to compose and write at the same time since his childhood. He would spend his most of the time in reading books and practicing musical keyboard or harmonium in his childhood. Writing poems was his another passion in his childhood. He could not finish his education due to financial crisis. He left study during graduation and started his career by doing small businesses of Cybercafe, Computer Typing, Photostat, STD Booth, Kachori-Samosa Shop, Lathe Machine, Paan Shop, etc. to fulfill his parents financial needs. But, he kept his passion alive during his engagement in business and continued music practice along with earning livelihood in small age. He kept learning from various gurus side by side. Although, he could not manage to acquire formal training in music due to lack of time and money. He learned sound engineering and music programming with the help of Internet at his Cybercafe shop. He would entertain his Cybercafe Customers with his singing and music. Later, he got a job offer from a mobile Value Added Service company on the basis of his music profile and he continued in this job for five years. Raj Mahajan founded 2 companies in the name and title of BinacaTunes Media Private Limited and Moxx Music Private Limited in the year 2008 and 2011 respectively. Raj is acting as Managing Director for both the companies. BinacaTunes is one of the leading company in the field of IT and digital media distribution. Moxx Music Company is an record label and Production House based in Delhi, India. It produces music and video content for music and non-music category. Moxx Music has released approx 2000 songs in 13 languages for different categories and genres. Moxx Music is also engaged into talent promotion under the guidance of Raj Mahajan. Although, these companies are not making much profit as Raj Mahajan is not charging any fees to the Artists as he knows the pain of the struggle of an artist. Raj has hosted a TV Show named 'Music Masti with Raj Mahajan' broadcast on DishaTV Channel in India and abroad on every Sunday at 22.00 hrs (IST) in the year 2015. Every week a new celebrity / achiever would join the show and share talks on screen with Raj Mahajan. This TV show continued for few months. Raj Mahahajan has also appeared as Celebrity Guest in a TV show Dancing War on SadhanaTV. Raj Mahajan has been serving music with his self funded companies which survives on the royalty income received from different online platforms. Raj Mahajan has been providing platforms to budding artists including singer, actors, lyricist etc. without charging any fee. Raj Mahajan is helping amateur artists to become a professional in their respective field. Raj Mahajan is making loss / least profit from the companies due to his volunteer efforts for promotion of the art, artists and culture. Raj Mahajan has been promoting art and culture for almost all the regions of India. He records music in almost all the languages and publishes the same on international platforms. He promotes regional and national festivals based music and content. He is taking the Indian cultural knowledge to the international level. According to Raj Mahajan, Music is a universal language understood by all. Music is common interest among all the people. Be it any tribe, caste, religion, region, country or race on the earth. Raj Mahajan uses music as a tool to bring awareness among people. He works on many subjects to spread a good message among public including Save Girl Child, Stop Cow Slaughtering, Stop Smoking, Avoid Fast Food etc.
