Marco Tornar

Marco Tornar was born in Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy on October 15, 1960. He died in Pescara on February 8, 2015 for a heart attack. Considered as one of the most important Italian poets of his generation, two years after his passing the publication of his complete works, edited by Sandro Naglia, started, and is still ongoing. Thanks to his fellowship with the writer and director Umberto Silva, Tornar took part as an actor in two movies of the latter: Le avventure di Jean Jacques Rousseau (1985) and Smeraldina liberata (1989).
